We would like to invite you to the 8th Magnetometer Workshop taking place in October 2023 in Znojmo, the Czech Republic. Following the previous seven successful workshops and growing community, we hope to have fruitful discussion about space magnetometer research and technology.

The workshop will be held in Znojmo, a small historic city in the Southern Moravia region of the Czech Republic.

Accommodation
The conference will be held at the hotel Mariel, located here.
Hotel Mariel (the confernce venue) has a capacity of 30 single rooms. The hotel will be preferentially occupied by participants attending the full conference and at the first register, first serve basis. The hotel is booked by the conference orginizers and will be paid on-site by each participant.
Another part of the conference attendees will be accommodated either in:
Hotel U Divadla (located here - 300 m from the conference site).
or in
Hotel Lahofer (located here - 700 m from the conference sit). This hotel is however available only till Thursday and is therefore convenient for the atendees departing earlier.
Both alternative hotels have a cancelation fee policy and the participants might need to pay the accomodation in advance. After the final registration, the participants will be asked to make a advanced payment for the hotel rooms.
The total cost will be around 350-400 EUR, covering the Hotel accommodation (slightly varying, depending on the hotel), breakfasts, lunches, coffee-breaks, ice breaker on Monday.
Travel
Znojmo is easily accessible by train (~2 hours) or by car (~1.5 hours) from Wien with its international airport.
